We are an out of network provider with all insurance plans, meaning we don't work with any insurance companies directly. We do accept most Health Savings Account (HSA cards). We can provide you a detailed medical receipt for any and all services we provide to submit to your insurance for any reimbursement.

What Can You Expect from the Initial Evaluation & Process?
known as the diagnostic clinical interview. We get to know in more detail how you would like our help, what symptoms you or your child are experiencing, and we ask questions to make sure we are covering all our bases.
1. Schedule an initial visit
give recommendations on the next step. This can include either therapy, an evaluation, or sometimes both. If an evaluation is recommended, the doctor will give you a price quote and you can determine if you want to proceed with testing.
2. Develop a treatment plan
we explain the process, estimate how many sessions are recommended to start, answer any questions you have, and then get you scheduled for your next visit.
3. If starting therapy
your doctor will give you a price quote, explain what the testing includes, and then schedule (or you can take time to think about it).
4. Undergoing an evaluation

Therapy Sessions
Our 50-minute sessions may be covered through out-of-network benefits. Check with your insurance provider for reimbursement options. We provide a medical receipt (superbill) upon request.

Our licensed psychologists personally conduct every part of the testing process, including assessments, report writing, and a one-hour feedback session to review results in person. Psychological testing may be reimbursable through out-of-network benefits, but coverage varies by provider.
🔹 Educational Testing (e.g., dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia) is not covered by insurance, as these are not considered medical conditions under most plans.
During the initial diagnostic interview, the psychologist assesses testing needs and required hours. If you agree to the plan, testing sessions are scheduled at the next available date.
1. Evaluation & Scheduling
After testing, you will receive a comprehensive written report within three weeks, followed by a session to review results, recommendations, and next steps.

Note: Psychoeducational evaluations (testing for learning disabilities such as dyslexia, dysgraphia, or dyscalculia are NOT covered benefits under insurance plans, regardless of which plan you have. Psychological evaluations (including testing for autism) are usually covered, but every insurance plan is different so we encourage you to check with your insurance about reimbursement rates. We are a self-pay practice means that you are ultimately responsible for the cost of our services up front. We can provide a detailed medical receipt of all services rendered upon request. You can submit this to your insurance and then you contact them for reimbursement directly, if applicable.
