What type of testing do you offer?

We offer comprehensive psychological evaluations for a variety of conditions, including:

Depressive disorders (e.g., depression, bipolar I, II)
Anxiety disorders (e.g., obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), specific phobia, social anxiety, generalized anxiety)
Disruptive, Impulse-Control, and Conduct Disorders (ODD, Intermittent Explosive Disorder)

*Please note we do not take cases with ongoing legal issues including pending divorce, abuse allegations, or court-ordered evaluations. These are specialized cases where a forensic psychologist is needed.

How is your testing different than meeting with a psychiatrist?

A psychiatrist is a medical doctor specializing in prescribing medication for psychological conditions. They often interview you and ask you to fill out questionnaires. This is often a good start for individuals who are certain they want to start medication and need a professional to prescribe and monitor how well the medication is working.

A psychologist is a doctoral level (Ph.D.) advanced academic degree. We are trained to provide comprehensive evaluations for psychological conditions. It will involve a more in-depth analysis and written report with diagnoses and recommendations for treatment. Our psychological evaluations can range from 1-3 hours. All evaluations include an initial interview with the psychologist so that we can understand your current symptoms and talk with you about whether we think testing would benefit you, and what diagnoses we need to rule in (or out). Our evaluations conclude with a one-on-one feedback with the psychologist to go over the results with you and guide you on the next steps for treatment.

What are your price ranges? Do you take insurance?

Our prices are based on the number of hours needed for testing. For a psychological evaluation, this usually ranges from 1-2 hours, and we will let you know after your initial meeting with us what we recommend. The price range starts at around $550 and up. Our evaluations are detailed, comprehensive, and of the highest quality.

*We do not work directly with insurance companies. We do provide detailed medical receipts so that you can submit for reimbursement any "out of network" benefits you can claim. We also accept HSA cards.
